HE may be a new name to you, but Emin Agalarov – or just Emin for short – is fast becoming one of the world's best-known pop stars.
Currently on the promo trail for his new album more…Amor, here are ten things you probably didn't know about the singer…
1. He is the son of Russian billionaire Aras Agalarov.
2. He was born in Baku, Azerbaijan, but moved to Russia with his family when he was four, and went to university in New York.
3. He’s just been voted Sexiest Man in Russia by the country's ZD Awards and is also the proud owner of a Golden Gramophone (think Russian Grammy).
4. He was the first person ever to persuade Donald Trump to appear in a music video.
5. He is married to Leyla Aliyeva, the daughter of the President of Azerbaijan.
6. As well as being a multinational pop star, he co-owns Nobu Moscow with Robert De Niro, a series of venues, shopping malls and luxury brands.
7. He sung at the Sochi Olympics opening ceremony.
8. He appeared alongside the likes of Mariah Carey, Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus and Ricky Martin in Monte Carlo.
9. He is a massive Elvis Presley fan and says he learned to speak English from a cassette of Elvis songs his mother gave him.
10. He’s good friends with British singing legend Englebert Humperdinck.
Emin's new album More Amor is out March 23 followed by the single Woman on April 13. Emin plays London’s 229 Venue on March 10.
